What happens after I reserve my date?

Upon reserving your party’s date and time on the NHPT website, you will receive a confirmation call from a member of the New Haven Pizza Truck team to review your details and answer any questions.

Rates

Our standard party rates (for up to 50 guests) are:

  • Monday – Thursday: $1,200 + tax
  • Friday – Sunday: $1,400 + tax
  • Each additional guest: $15 per person

Gratuity is not included in these rates. At this time, we are unable to accommodate gatherings exceeding 150 individuals.

Travel Rates

The first 20 miles round trip are included in the price. Any additional mileage will be charged at $3 per mile round trip.

Event Day Timeline

On the date of your event, we will arrive approximately 30–60 minutes before service to set up the trailer, tables, and oven.

A full open pizza buffet accompanied by homemade salad will be available for the first hour to one and a half hours of service.

Please note that we do not prepare pizza for the entire three-hour window — time is also required for dessert and coffee service, as well as setup and cleanup. We have some flexibility and can tailor the schedule, but this depends on our overall booking schedule.

Clear communication is essential: please share your plans regarding the event’s flow and food service timing with our team so that everyone is aligned.

Dessert & Espresso Service

Following the pizza course, dessert and espresso service begins. For approximately one hour, we offer soft-serve ice cream and espresso coffee (no alcoholic beverages).

The final 15–30 minutes are reserved for cleanup and finishing any remaining pizzas. We kindly request a smooth departure for the truck, trailer, and staff, without needing vehicles to be moved at the last minute.

On-Site Pizza Only

Pizza is for on-site enjoyment only. We do not box pizza for guests to take home. At the end of the event, we will box any remaining pizzas for the host.

What makes your pizza special?

New Haven pizza is renowned globally for a reason. Our dough consists of four simple ingredients — water, flour, salt, and yeast — with no added fats, dairy, or sugar. It ferments for 48 hours and is hand-stretched on-site.

We use premium whole milk mozzarella and imported Pecorino Romano, along with a simple sauce made from crushed tomatoes. Each pizza is baked at around 800°F for about 90 seconds, producing a thin, crispy, charred, and delicious crust.

We bring plenty of dough and toppings and continue making pizzas until your guests are satisfied. If you or your guests have food allergies or specific dietary restrictions, please contact us in advance so we can accommodate you.
